Freedom to stop judging people

Freedom to stop judging people

There is no shame in following Jesus because he will never let you down. Accepting God’s grace is for everyone. I need him as much as you do. The point of Paul pointing out God’s judgement about sin is not to convict the obvious sinners, but to get us off our high horses of thinking we are better than others.

In this series we invite you to take a ’S.O.A.P.’ journal and dig deeper into Romans during the week. SOAP is a simple way of writing down a ‘Scripture’ that stands out to you from the passage, an ‘Observation’ of what God is saying to you from that passage, an ‘Application’ of how you can apply it today and a ‘Prayer’ asking God to help you use what you’ve learned.

You can download a digital version of the journal here:

You can also pick up a printed journal for free on Sundays.

We’ll read Romans together slowly, over 9 weeks. Each Sunday we’ll explore something from the chapters in Romans that we will be reading and journalling about in the coming week.

Some of our small groups are studying Romans in their gatherings each week. Follow this link if you’d like to join a midweek group:

You can join us next Sunday in person at 9.30am and 5.30pm. Or connect with us any time at
