Faith means trust and confidence in Jesus. It includes believing things about him, but it goes further than agreeing with information. Christian faith is relying on Jesus, receiving his grace and choosing to follow him.
Faith can exist alongside questions and doubt. The shepherds in the Christmas story had enough trust to go and see whether what they had heard was true. You may begin in a similar place, with curiosity, uncertainty and enough willingness to take one step towards Jesus.
Faith becomes visible in the way we live. We pray, act on what Jesus teaches, trust him when the outcome is unclear and keep returning when we get distracted or afraid. Some steps feel courageous. Others are quiet acts of faithfulness that no one else notices.
The strength of faith rests in the faithfulness of God, not in our ability to feel certain every day. If you feel as though you have run out of faith, you can tell God that honestly. Ask him for help, stay connected with people who can support you, and take the next step you can see.
