Geoff Snook is the Lead Pastor of The Lakes Church in Cairns, Queensland. He is passionate about helping people encounter Jesus, grow as followers of Jesus, and experience authentic Christian community. Geoff’s teaching focuses on making the Bible accessible and relevant to everyday life.
Before becoming Lead Pastor, Geoff served in a range of ministry and leadership roles within local churches. He is committed to building a healthy church culture. Geoff is married to Laura and they have always served side by side in ministry. They are passionate about seeing people of all ages grow in faith and become fully devoted followers of Jesus.
Geoff has completed a Bachelor of Theology and Master of Arts (Christian Leadership) through the Australian College of Ministries. He is also a graduate of the Emerging Leaders program with Arrow Leadership.
When he’s not serving at church, Geoff enjoys spending time with family, listening to podcasts while running, volunteering at his local parkrun and having coffee with friends.
