In Jesus’ final hours he poured out his heart to the Father. He prayed, “Please, no!” about the pain he was facing, but also prayed, “Not my will, but yours.” Are we as familiar with the second prayer as we are with the first? When we are facing fear in our lives, we can ask God for love and we can embrace love as the way to overcome that fear.
