What did the New Testament writers mean when they wrote about being filled with the Spirit? Why is this important in the life of a Christian? Does it only happen once? What is speaking in tongues about? And what’s so good about prophecy?
The original words used in the Bible for the Holy Spirit are Ruach (Old Testament) and Pneuma (New Testament). These words are also used to describe breath and wind. By exploring the breath, wind and Spirit of God throughout the Bible we’ll understand better how he wants to work in our lives today.
